Il gesto tecnico del terapista all’interno della Terapia Manuale nasce da una formazione di aggiornamento continua, uno studio approfondito dell’anatomia e da condivisioni e collaborazioni con professionisti provenienti da tutto il mondo.
Un terapista che osserva la scienza in modo olistico è consapevole che gli elementi che possono influenzare il potenziale di guarigione del paziente sono molteplici: nuove ricerche nell’ambito della psiconeuroendocrinoimmunologia (PNEI) hanno dimostrato che la salute emotiva può influenzare la guarigione fisica e a questo scopo è emerso un nuovo settore della medicina, che esplora le relazioni esistenti tra la mente e il sistema immunitario. Esistono altri fattori che influenzano la salute, tra i quali l’alimentazione, il peso, l’esercizio fisico, il riposo, il fumo e i farmaci e altre forme di “inquinamento del sangue”.
Certamente poi sono da considerare i fattori costituzionali che possono aumentare o diminuire il nostro potenziale di guarigione.
